Information we collect
When you request a quote, PineWorks may collect your name, email address, phone number, property or service location, company information, requested services, project details and photographs you choose to provide.
How we use it
The information is used to respond to your request, assess the requested work, prepare a quotation, coordinate service and maintain appropriate customer and invoicing records when work proceeds.
Photographs
Photographs submitted with a quote request are used to understand the property and requested work. Customer-submitted images are not used publicly as portfolio content without separate permission.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form requests. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse and may process technical information such as IP address and browser information. Brevo processes the quote details and optional photos to deliver the request to PineWorks' business email inbox, hosted by Google. These providers may process information outside Canada under their service arrangements.
The website does not maintain a separate quote or photo database. Quote details and attachments are processed for email delivery and may remain in provider delivery records and the business inbox. Learn more from Cloudflare, Brevo and Google.
Website measurement
The website is prepared for optional Google Analytics 4. Where analytics is enabled for the website address, it loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Declining does not affect your ability to browse, call, email or request a quote. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Analytics is not active when the measurement service has not been configured for the current website address.
If you accept, Google receives technical visit information such as browser/device information, IP address, approved page paths, referring source categories and interaction events. Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits. PineWorks measures page views, successful quote-email acceptance, and clicks on its phone/email links. A click is not a completed call, and a quote request is not a booking. The website does not send customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers, property addresses, quote messages, request references or photos as analytics event data. Page query strings and unrecognized paths are not included in the analytics page address, and campaign labels are restricted to approved values.
No advertising pixels, Google Ads audience integration, Google Signals or advertising personalization are enabled by this website implementation. Google may process analytics data outside Canada. Read Google's privacy policy for its processing practices. Browser blocking, a declined choice or an unavailable service means analytics reports will not count every visit or enquiry.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days; the configured analytics cookies expire within 180 days without a rolling extension. Withdrawing consent stops this implementation's analytics and removes its analytics cookies where the browser permits it. You can also clear site data using your browser controls.
Separately, during your browser session the website stores the first page path, campaign tags and referring website in session storage so a quote request can show how you found PineWorks. That quote-source record does not store form contact details or photos, is not itself sent to Google Analytics, and works independently of optional analytics consent. If browser storage is unavailable, you can still submit a quote request.
Marketing
Submitting a quote request does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email or text messages. Any future marketing program will use a separate consent process and include an unsubscribe option.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained only as reasonably needed for quotation, customer service, operational and record-keeping purposes. Email providers retain information according to their account settings and policies. You may contact PineWorks to ask about your information or request an appropriate correction or deletion. We will update this notice if we introduce additional analytics or change the quote-delivery process.
